Q: Where do I find my VIN (vehicle identification number) number?

A: On the driveside portion on the windshield.  There is a total of 17 digits of numbers and letters.

Q. What does the vin tell me?

A. The vin gives us a lot of information.  It tells us where the vehicle was produced, gives us the make, model, sub-model, engine size and the chassis number.  All of this information is useful when trying to search for the correct parts for your vehicle.

Q. Where do I find the production date or manufacturing date?

A. The production date is located on the inside of the driverside door panel.

Q. Where do I find the engine code for Volkswagons and Audi's?

A. You can find it on the timing cover of the engine.

Q. How often should I replace my filters?

A. It is recommended that you replace your oil filter at each oil change.  You should also check your air and cabin filter when you change your oil.  When your filters become dark and full of debris you should replace the filters for better engine management and fuel efficiency.

Q. When looking for parts, which side of the car is the left side and which side is the right side?

A. Always view the vehicle as if you are sitting in the driver seat of the car looking foreward.  The left side of the vehicle is the driver side.  The right side of the car is the passenger side of the car.
